Hello! My name is Jeanne, and this blog is a collection of my recipes, bentos that I bring to work daily, and other miscellaneous adventures. The “Corgi” in my blog name is my dog, Charlie, who always accompanies me in the kitchen and is sometimes my little taste tester (although he likes just about everything). You’ll see some photos of him here and there too.
I’ve been diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), so most of my recipes are low carb and unprocessed, per my doctor’s recommendations to mitigate symptoms and risks of PCOS. I’m trying to be more aware of the food I make for my family too, so the focus is on whole, unprocessed foods.
I bring a bento to work everyday for lunch; it keeps me from eating random junk or going out for lunch. Plus, I really enjoy bento culture, and it’s a little something that brightens my work day everyday.
